Pengukuran dan Penilaian Tahap Emosi Pelajar dalam Aktiviti Kokurikulum: Permasalahan dan Cadangan

Abstract


Aktiviti kokurikulum dilihat sebagai salah satu medium pembentukan kemahiran insaniah di institusi pengajian tinggi. Ia berpotensi membentuk jati diri pelajar, pembentukan emosi, jasmani dan rohani selaras dengan hasrat Falsafah Pendidikan Kebangsaan. Terdapat kajian yang membuktikan penglibatan dalam aktiviti kokurikulum memberi kesan positif terhadap emosi pelajar. Walaubagaimanapun terdapat kekangan dalam mengukur aspek emosi dalam kalangan pelajar yang mengikuti aktiviti kokurikulum. Objektif kajian ini adalah untuk mengenalpasti sejauhmanakah pengukuran dan penilaian dalam aspek emosi dilaksanakan di dalam aktiviti kokurikulum di IPT di Malaysia. Dapatan daripada tinjauan literatur dan temubual mendapati bahawa penilaian terhadap aspek emosi lebih bertumpu pada kaedah pemerhatian dan secara konvesional.
